I don't see a 7100 on their tech support site, but FWIW the path of least resistance is probably to remove the hard drive, buy a cheap laptop-to-desktop hard drive adapter, and manipulate your drive using a desktop system. When you redo the drive, you might want to create a small DOS partition with NTFSDOS, xxcopy and network card drivers. You can dual boot to it to fix problems when XP becomes unbootable and to transfer files for reinstallation.
