I have a Sony VAIO laptop pcg-xr1f, I know that my system bus speed is 100MHZ. Can I use a 133MHZ memory to upgrade my laptop.

You should be able to use 133 there will be no preformance gain. The fsb is only 100mhz.

Yes you can use 133MHz SODIMM memory however, the memory will step down to 100MHZ.
