Grpahics flickers when processor's turned up

Hi ya
2500+ Barton
Geforce 4 128
256 RAM
ASUS A7v8x-x motherboard

Ive been running my machine at 1800mhz fine, but I decided to turn up the processor to 2200mhz as I think its fine to do so. When I do this however, the graphics within games either flicker or the machine freezes when it loads them. What could be the problem??

You are overclocking too much is my bet. Too much heat or lack of voltage.  You should upgrade CPU cooler and case cooling.
