putting a file on a dvd?

i have a movie clip that i want to save on a cd.
it's too big for a cd or cdrw...is it ok or possible to save it on a larger capacity dvdr or dvdrw?

i just want to save the file not burn.

Hi,

You can do it as long as you have a DVD+RW drive. You cannot burn a dvd on a CD+RW drive (this is only for CD's).

NOTE: The function of copy/record/burn is the same, therefore if you want to copy files you have to burn/record them onto a DVD or CD.

my original post said i just wanted to save it and not burn
and yes i do have a dvd drive...duh

dude u cant save something in a cd u have to burn it thats not a hard disk what u can do bye a dvdrw so if u want u can erase it thats all u can do there is not another alternative

and dont get it like oh but i dont want that to be a dvd burn it like a data so it will be the clip
