ANyone know if i can succesfully load win xp on to my computer with win 98 running. or do i need to wipe disc and restart with win xp.

If you you mean can you upgrade 98 to Xp, yes you can but I wouldn't do it. M$ don't recomend upgrading because their is certainly no quarrantee that Xp will function properly. They highly recomend formating the drive and doing a clean install which is what I do. 98 is a very different OS than XP and trying to convert it without any problems is unlikely.  M$ like to sell upgrade CD's but if you do and call them for tech support  they'll say "oh you upgraded 98 to XP, well theirs the problem,  you should a clean install." http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':rolleyes:\' />
