Editing boot up palette

FONT=Arial][color=\"blue\"]I've managed to change my boot up screen as described in the tutorial.  My only problem is i changed my pallette but it still uses the original ...any ideas on how i can use my modified palette?[/color] [/FONT]

Hallo dear.

Well that is the thing. I have been trying to change my XP boot screen, but so far I just can't get to see the bitmap image of the original picture in my Adop Photoshop! I have imported the 16.pal (as sad by R. Hacker software)color pallet and, stil it stays plane Black, could you please tell me how can i change the colors to edit my bitmap image.
