I'm using XP Pro's Backup Utility for Windows ©2001 by MS & Veritas. I'm also
using an HP Travan 5GB Tape Drive.
My problem is when using the backup utility with its integrated scheduler, the tape
will not Mount. Scheduler will fire the app, the tape [usually] will spin for a
second or two, the interface comes up and indicates it is (trying to) mount the tape
- then the whole app quits. The log / report says nothing (blank).
The backup utility works fine when "fired manually" - but I need this to be a scheduled
activity.
Any ideas?
