hey everyone, this is kind of an annoyance... i've found sometimes for certain soundcards if you go into the volume settings and into the advanced, it has the bass and treble settings there but they are greyed out so you can't use them. is this a case of the soudcard doesn't support this or a setting somewhere that can be tweaked? i'm running win XP on an ibm aptiva 2170-16U., the soundcard druiver is an ESS 1969 Audiodrive (WDM). all my music sounds kind of flat now... LOL
anyone who can shed some light on this i'd really appreciate it
