But now sys wont boot, freezes at black boot screen. safe mode the first line that "suppose" to zip by during boot stops. This path containes the moded ...WINDOWS/system32/ntokrnl.exe, boot stops dead in tracks, tried every boot option there was in the old F8 at startup. same response all day. Cant seem to find selective start up or a way to "jump" over this line that invokes the boot screen. Is there a trick or a boot utility that can get me back into the OS to replace the original file back to norm. I really dont want to reinstall os for one friggin f'd up phile. Anyone?
