I have been trying to configure a network between those machines for a friend.
I have a hub where i plug the three machines ... i create the workgroup, use the automatic IP config. But it does not work.
As long as XP and win98 there is not problem well a litlle one since from the win98 machine you cant acces the XP machine , does not bother me it is probably the firewall. From the XP we can see the share folder in the win 98.
the problem comes with the w2k, it is detect by the other two and reply when "ping" but when try to access a complex message is display about the path that cant be found (they just found the machine ....). From the w2k you cant even see the other two machines...
any ideas ?
