Winlogon.exe error

I am having a very odd problem with my laptop.  Out of the blue I get the error that winlogon.exe has referenced an instruction set and the memory cannot be "read". I was actually not even actively doing anything at the time it happened. I made no changes to the registry and have not downloaded any new software other than Ad Aware. I have my system backed up and I can work on it somewhat. The windows shell is diabled and I have to lauch everything thru task manager, which is a giant pain. If anyone has any idea how to fix this without me going to the backup, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

I seem to have had a simular problem, only with a other application. After experimenting a bit I found out that we I killed the "GhostStartTrayApp.exe" I wouldn't get the error.
I've got the latest Ghost 2003 version (live update) but still got the problem. Closing the GhostStartTrayApp.exe could be worth a try. http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':unsure:\' />
