Alright I have run into a problem with my cd roms. I actually think it's a windows problem rather than a hardware. I am running XP Pro. Here is the problem. When installing a progam that has more than 1 disc for the installation when it asks for the second disc and that disc is put in, the windows still thinks it's the first disc.
Basically what I am saying here is that the cd rom doesn't seem to refresh and read off a new disc that is put into it. This happens on both the cd rom and the cd burner.
To clear the PC of this I have to shutdown and restart. Then all is well until I put anopther CD in and the dam thing thinks that CD is in there for life.
Any Suggestions??
P.S. CD rom and Burner drivers updated. No change.
