hi well here's the story:
before i got an old p1 from skool and tried to network didnt work well but i could still share files.now i fixd my mums pc (p3 ) and both pcs say cable is connec ted but when i get the ip 4 both pcs the xp mine andathxp2600 it shows an ip 4 the network and 4 the isp conec. but nothing 4 win2000
ive played around with the settings heaps and nothing seems to work. my pc xp shows itself in network places but not 2000 i cant connect to the net on 2000 ether and im sure my netwrk adapter works and quite sure my mums does too. also is there any way to get the files for the xp network setup on cd nsted of floppy?
