Ensure your using Spybot 1.3
You can find that info in Spybot, under HELP>>ABOUT
If your not using 1.3, uninstall your version and get the latest
Search for updates, Check For Problems, Fix Everything in RED

Download and Install the free version of Ad-Aware
After installation-CHECK FOR UPDATES
Do a Full system scan----Remove All Critical objects
RESTART your computer to finish the cleaning process

After RESTART
Download the latest version of Hijackthis, your version is outdated
You can redownload from HERE
Save it to a Permanent folder

You also still show signs of Peper Trojan
Download this UNINSTALLER
Save it to desktop
Double click to run Peper Fix
Click Find and Fix--follow the prompts to remove files
which will require you to RESTART your computer one more time

Set Windows to Show Hidden Files and Folders

Do another Scan with Hijackthis and FIX CHECKED the below entries
Make sure ALL windows are closed, including this one

Open Hijackthis 1.98.2
Click the CONFIG>>>>MISC TOOLS>>>>Delete File On Reboot buttons

Copy and paste the bold into the File Name field

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp\AgVa.exe

And then click Open>>This should tell you the file will be deleted on Restart
Don't restart yet

Instead
Do another Scan with Hijackthis and put a check next to these entries
and then FIX CHECKED when ALL other windows are closed, including this one

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [AgVa.exe] C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp\AgVa.exe

Optionally, fix the next ones too, they are not Immediate threats, but they are NOT needed on Startup, programs work fine without them

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [QuickTime Task] "C:\Program Files\QuickTime\qttask.exe" -atboottime
O4 - Global Startup: Microsoft Office.lnk = C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\OSA9.EXE

RESTART your computer

You should install these 2 apps., they add extra security while
silently protecting you, without running in the background

SpywareBlaster by JavaCool---will block bad ActiveX and malevolent cookies
Install---Check for Updates---Enable all protection
http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html

IE-Spyad---IE-SPYAD puts over 5000 sites in your restricted zone so you'll be protected when you visit innocent-looking sites that aren't actually innocent at all.
Here is a tutorial and download link
TUTORIAL==IE SPYAD Tutorial
Download link==IE Spyad download page
Scroll down and click on IE-SPYAD.EXE Free!

With both, Check for updates every couple of weeks

Post back with a Fresh hijackthis log afterward, let me know how everthings going

Alright man! I did everthing you told me to. I didn't install the IE one, just becauase i'm not using IE. Only FireFox. http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />
That nasty AdVa.exe file is gone (whatever it was).  Everything looks alright. I ran F-prot and it didn't come up with any bingo.exe or any suspicious files.    http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':D\' />
Thanx for all your help man! http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' /> Its greatly appreciated. Btw here's the rest of the HiJackThis log after everything was updated and complete.

Good work Peter,
SpywareBlaster just silently protects you
Adds Registry entries to block bad ActiveX controls and cookies, also puts entries in your
Restricted zones settings
Meaning, any site in the Restricted zones must follow the rules outlined by the setting
Just make sure you check for updates every couple of weeks and after updating---enable all protection

You can see what I mean by opening IE>>>Internet Options>>>Look under the Security and Privacy tabs

I also use Firefox, I couldn't be without it, but I do have IE-Spyad in  because the wife refuses to part from IE
IE put a lot more entries in the Restricted Zones settings

Don't forget about Spybot's Immunize feature
Open Spybot>>>Immunize>>>OK>>>>Click Immunize again at the top

Stay safe Peter  http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':D\' />
