Having successfully created the above Auto Installation CD, I wondered if it was possible to customise the answer file to auto create the installation partition as a specific size (say 5 Gb) rather than auto-partitioning the whole drive.
The relevant portion of my answer file looks like this:

AutoPartition=1
MsDosInitiated=yes
UnattendedInstall="Yes"
