Let's try some cleanup

First I suggest that you uninstall the MyWay searchbar
Access your Add/Remove Programs via Control Panel and Uninstall
any of these found
My Search Bar
MyWay Speed Bar
My Web Search Bar
Fun Web Products Easy Installer
or anything looking similiar to the above

Restart your computer if anything removed

On to the next step:
Download and Save to Desktop CWShredder

Disconnect from the Net (Close down All browsers)
With JUST CWShredder open let it FIX all problems
RESTART your computer again

NEXT:
Download and Install the free version of Ad-Aware SE Personal 1.05
Ensure you have this version or later
After installation-CHECK FOR UPDATES
Do a Full system scan----Remove All Critical objects
RESTART your computer to finish the cleaning process

After the above is done
Can you delete your copy of hijackthis, it is out of date
The latest version is Hijackthis 1.98.2

You can click on the link to download the latest version
This Link
Save it to a permanent folder--don't save it to desktop
EG.---Open MyDocuments>>>Right click an empty spot>>Left click NEW>>FOLDER
Name the new folder hijackthis, this is where you will want to save hijackthis.exe too
Backups will be stored there if we remove anything

Post back a Fresh hijackthis log after you have done the above

RESTART your computer

If you haven't done a disk defrag in a while, now would be a good time
Here's what I like to do
Right click an empty spot on your desktop----left click properties
Under the ScreenSaver tab set screensaver to none
Then click the Settings tab and set Power Schemes to Always ON

RESTART your computer into SAFE MODE

Navigate to these Temp folders and Delete the WHOLE contents, or whatever you can, including subfolders, but DON'T delete the Temp directories themselves
C:\WINDOWS\TEMP <--delete the whole contents
C:\WINDOWS\TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES <--delete the Whole contents

Next go to START>>>Programs>>Accessories>>>System Tools>>>Scandisk
When scanning disk for errors check "Automatically fix errors"

Next go to START>>>Programs>>Accessories>>>System Tools>>Disk Defragmentor
Defrag the hard drive, if you haven't done this in a while it could take some time, let it finish

Restart back up to Normal mode

Access your Internet Options via Control Panel
Under the Program tab>>Reset Web Settings
Under the General tab>>>Reset your homepage

You should install these 2 apps., they add extra security while
silently protecting you, without running in the background

SpywareBlaster by JavaCool---will block bad ActiveX and malevolent cookies
Install---Check for Updates---Enable all protection

IE-Spyad---IE-SPYAD puts over 5000 sites in your restricted zone so you'll be protected when you visit innocent-looking sites that aren't actually innocent at all.

You don't appear to be using any Anti-Virus software
That's not safe these days, whether your on dialup or broadband, it's a good habit to scan any downloads off the internet

If you have your own you should install it, if not here is a link to a Free anti-Virus solution>>>you only need one anti-virus, more than one can cause conflicts
Follow the prompts to register>>>I use this on one of my machines
AVG Anti-Virus by Grisoft
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Next

Remember to get the free one and not the trial version
When registering please supply them with a legitimate Email address, don't make it a webbased one such as Email Removed, use the one from your ISP

After installation, ensure you check for updates, it will probably check anyways,
run a Full System Scan
