Hi everybody,
I would like to re-install windows Xp on my computer. I would like to delete everything EXCEPT a 16 Gbyte folder. How can I re-install windows without erasing this folder. When I used Windows 98 what I did is I booted using the Windows 98 Cd the I pressed F3 which loaded MS-DOS. From the DOS prompt I would run Deltree and erase C:Windows and c:Program Files. I rebooted with the Win 98 Cd and installed Windows. Does somebody know if this is possible using Windows XP? Is there any other way to delete EVERYTHING except ONE folder without having to backup to CD.ROM 16 Gbytes worth of Files??
thanks,
Inigo
