ATI vs nVidia: point of view on the TV-Out part
« on: January 03, 2005, 11:45:01 AM »
ok, i made this new topic here as my quick search on this over the web didn't helped me much as i found no satisfacatory results.

i want to ask for opinions on users that had 'worked' with one/both types of cards and their (latest) drivers and i'm interestered in the folowing aspects:
1. ease of use
2. tv image quality
3. adjustments & fine tuning options.

all these refers only to the TV-Out capabilities of this cards, ATI and nVidia.

i apreciate your opinions and i will take them into considerations when i'll my next board as the TV-out functionality it is very important for me.

thanks

ATI vs nVidia: point of view on the TV-Out part

Well ATI has always been known for it's ATI AIW cards (All in Wonder) which are outstanding and jam packed with capability and software.  They have always ruled the roost at thier job as long as they've been around.  If you're interested in TV-Tuner/DVI/TV-Out and all that junk I'd say the ATI AIW is the clear winner.  ....and yes they are easy to use, but no more so than nVidia, neither are really "difficult" to operate.
