I have disabled activex and java in windows explorer on W2K and W/98 machines. They have been that way for several months. I finally gotten fed up with the stupid pop up warning \"Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page. As a result, the page may not display correctly\". Would anyone know how to get rid of this irritation without re-enabling or removing these controls, or by using a third party app such as Proxomitron, etc.
I\'m trying to find out what I need to edit in either systems files or registry to eliminate the pop up. I\'ve been scouring the net through google (how I found this place) for way to many hours and have requested assistance from M$ to no avail.
Any help would be greatly appreciated by more than just me!!!
