HA! that cracks...me.... UP! yes, yes, that's a BRILLIANT idea. when your computer has become infected go straight to the source THAT INFECTED YOU for the solution. poor kid. he's clearly a complete moron. sigh.

anyway i think our man who offered up the regedit a few posts back (HKEY_CURRENT_USER_\software and so on) is on the right track...at least my desktop options aren't frozen now. i can put pretty f'ing tulips on my desktop now if i like.

however i still fear that SmartSecurity is still lurking around somewhere in the depths of my knowledge box. and i'm not one to fall on the lawsuit bandwagon these days but sh*t if anyone wants to get a suit going against these folks i'm all for it. just tell me where to sign up.

any lawyers out there? or folks with time?
