Having linux crash can screw up windows, I\'ve been there before. First, linux can access your windows partition, so anything\'s possible there (very very not likely, but possible). Second, the boot manager is on the linux partition. So if it gets messed up, you may not be able to boot back into windows. If this happens to you in the future, be sure you do a fdisk /mbr on your windows partition BEFORE you delete the linux partition. Else you\'d better hope you have a Win98 startup disk because you won\'t be able to boot into windows.
