Getting a bigger harddrive for an ancient system
« on: May 11, 2005, 12:35:44 PM »
Hi again.

I really need a bigger drive for the same old piece of crap.

The existing drive is apparently this one, and all the comparable ones seem to be even smaller. I'd need about 30 to 40 gigs, but am really unsure which to get. The ones under consideration are this and this (or the bigger one for 15 extra bucks), for now. I have no idea if they'll work without causing problems (the main thing this computer is used for is old games), or if they'll require new hardware or software. How to find out, or can someone set me straight right away?

Thank you!

I know this is a stupid question, but please, anything you might have to say is of help.

Thanks
