Incessant Pop Ups
« on: May 17, 2005, 10:29:20 AM »
Hey,

i'm having trouble with some pop ups. They randomly appear, asking me to download Spyware destroyers, or giving me a spyware warning. I've traced these pop-ups back to Spyware Stormer (i havent downloaded it, so i dont know where they've come from)

I have run AdAware, Microsoft AntiSpyware, and Spybot. SPybot returns a DSO Exploit with 5 entries, and when i click fix it says it has fixed them, but if it still appears the next time i do a scan

MS Anti Spyware returns a "SearchMiracle.EliteToolbar". Again, if i try to delete it just reappears next time i do a scan

i ran hijack this, and here is the log:
