I've had a google and I find that the Nero 6.3 can create a boot cd by following the instructions found
Here although i also found that if you have a win98 or winME boot floppy then this works:
- go to nero smartsuite
- click "make bootable cd"
- when propted for files insert your win boot floppy and select all of the files
click next and choose the top option which reads the current boot floppy in the drive
- click next and continue with the burn which should clone the bootable floppy on a bootable cd.
one you have booted from the cd
- remove the boot cd and insert the windows cd
- go to your cd drive from the prompt which will be E:\ if your drive is normally D:\ or F:\ if the drive is normally E:\
- for windows2k type CD I386 and press enter
- then type WINNT which should start the setup program and then its a case of following the prompts.
if you dont have a boot floppy or a computer with a floppy drive to do this from then the other nero method
Here is worth a try although have not tried it myself because i found the one i just outlined
I know this doesnt help make the windows2k cd bootable but does provide a method of installing 2k on a system without a floppy drive which is one very good reason to want the 2k disc bootable in the first place :-)
I hope that this can help any of the readers here
