modify win xp boot screen
« on: March 26, 2005, 10:33:25 AM »
hi fellas,

i have been trying to follow your instructions in the above article but i have encountered a few problems & was wondering if you could update this article.

i have noticed that, as an xp pro sp2 user, bitmaps 9-12 inclusive are missing when i open the ntoskrnl file in reshacker. i'm guessing this is because sp2 removes the 'professional' bitmap from the boot screen. also, paint shop pro has moved on from version 7 & when i try to import the palette psp9 rejects it.

yours expectantly
