« on: July 30, 2005, 11:04:57 AM »
Hi!

I've got a problem with rundll32.exe, everytime i start my computer i get a popup box saying "Run-time error '75' Path/File access error". If i close the box it just re-appears the next second...  http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':(\' />

I don't know how to fix this problem, does anyone know what to do?

I'd really appriciate some help with this!

Thanks in advance!

75 Path/File access error

Program does not have rights or access to a file. Often this is caused when a program is trying to access a network file it doesn't have proper access to either because of network privileges or something is blocking the program. This issue can also be caused when the file is being used by another program or is read-only.

Try the following:

Click Start
Click Run
Type msconfig
Click on Startup tab
Click on disable all

Restart the computer.

If the message stops appearing you have found yourself a solution. Then you will need to go through the Startup List tab and check the programs one by one and see if you can isolate the program which is causing the problem and reinstall it.

I hope I have guided you toward the right path.

Take care,
