Hi All.
I tried to remove the Trojan.Vundo virus from my parents' computer this weekend. After many unsuccessful tries, I seem to have similar problems to a number on this forum (as well as other forums).
I can locate the offending file but cannot delete it since it is being used by an unknown process.
I was wondering if anyone has any information as to whether Norton will update their removal tool to handle this latest variant of the Trojan.Vundo virus ? ( I read somewhere that Norton would release an update soon, but don't know how accurate the information is)
If they don't do it soon, then I'll post a HijackThis log file and ask for some assistance.
Have people successfully removed this version by using the advice of this site ? I sure hope so !
