Breaking the 1GHz barrier
« on: July 05, 2000, 01:44:37 AM »
I just broke the 1GHz barrior all!  1015MHz to be exact.  And neon could only hit a measely 1002MHz.  Course he did this on a BX board with a 600e and I did mine on an i815e board with a 700e....but still!  I\'m the king!

So, who has gone faster than this so far?  Give us all the info!  I\'ll be posting some benchmarks on the site soon....so you all get to drool...or point and laugh.

and how long did you stay at that? 5, or maybe even 10 minutes?

Actually I can stay at that as long as I want.  I just can\'t do anything too intensive else it\'ll lockup.  Well 3dMark locks up but the system \"usually\" stays up.  Sandra gets errors sometimes, stuff like that.  Oh, and in WinME certain letters will just get bold, for no reason.  Like in IE it was the letter \"f\" the other day.  Only when I\'m past 1gig though.
