hi to all this is my first topic
i recently bought a new 80gb jb western digitall hdd, plug it into my pc format it by the ntfs (winxp sp2) and had all my cd's as mp3. Then after a few months every time i tried to open a file from this drive winxp frozed and after a sec it reboots. chkdisk has found a few errors on the file hieracy but nothing more. used the hdd regenerator to find any bad sector but none was found.
the problem consists for every file on this particular hdd, it's ata 100, i also bought a new 500w big fun q-tel psu but the problem remains he same.
Any help will be apreciated
