windows media center

hi i gat a new pc that came with windows media center 2005 but i dont like it cause it has a lot of crap build in from hp and of course i have only recovery
ita anyway that i can download a media center software and use my key for activation so what im sayin is that
i want to install a clean copy but i have no software i got only a legal key
please help

anyways i got a media center cd and after installin it ask me to activate i put my sn but it didt work and than i went an avtivate by phone and make a chanke key but still dint work any help here

havin a problem loadin music in MEdia center, same error message comes up.

the music plays in media player 10, however not in media center.  Albums come up as unknown artist.

error message i get is this

Audio error- 80040155
