I have a Celeron 2.0 Ghz w/256MB RAM in my garage for tracking various stuff like home inventory and maintenance on my vehicles.  The power went out and when it was restored, I went to boot my machine and it wouldnt boot.  I do have the backups of all the files I needed as I back them up at least once a week.  The problem I am having is that I tried to do a clean reload of 2000 and get a lot of errors.  I have even went as far as trying to reload the machine with 98 and continually get msgsrv32 errors.  The hard drive I have in it is a WD Caviar 300AA, 30GB H/D (5400 RPM, ATA 66 drive).  I realize it isnt a new harddrive but it was working fine before.  Any suggestions?  The motherboard is an AOpen MX46-533V.  Most of the errors with the 2000 install had to do with IRQ problems.
