Laptop running VERY slowly

My son's laptop is running very slowly in regular windows mode.  It seems to run fine in safe mode.  He has a dell laptop and is running windows xp.  I've scanned it with Norton Antivirus, Search & Destroy, and Ad-Aware.  I've corrected all problems.  When I start his laptop in regular mode and do ctrl+alt+del to see processes running, everything looks normal.  CPU usage is low and memory usage is low.  No odd looking processes are running.  I'm attaching his HiJack log.  If anyone can help, Thanks!!

Can you do the following please

You appear to have posted a hijackthis from safe mode
Can you reboot into Normal mode

REDOWNLOAD hijackthis 1.99.1 from my signature below and save it to a permanent folder of it's on own   on the harddrive

Run hijackthis again in Normal mode and post a fresh log please
