Cleaned reg,pc won't start
« on: March 26, 2006, 11:39:38 AM »
I just downloaded a registry cleaner program.  Ran it and cleaned up the pc (dup files, invalid reg keys, etc.)  I restarted the pc and now I get a black screen with the words "Invalid system disk. Replace the disk, and then press any key."  Everything I deleted is in the recycle bin but I cant' get to it or find which one I would need.  Please help!  Pressing any key just brings up the same screen.

Hello there.

I highly suggest you do not use those cleaners, as they can do very bad damage to your system. I suggest using the Windows disk you have, and using the recovery console to try to install the missing information.

Good luck.
