Greetings:
I bought the FPS1800 set about a year ago, and I\'ve been having a problem that occurs on and off. The rear two speaker units keep getting a loud static sounding buildup, that eventually causes them to cut out completely. I\'ve checked the wire connections to make sure they\'re seated properly, and tried pluging the power cable into both direct wall outlets and through high end power bars, but it doesn\'t help.
The only thing I\'ve found that clears up the problem when the static happens is to toggle a flourencent lamp plugged into the same outlet as the speakers on and off a bunch of times. There are no physical obstructions between the base unit and the rear speakers, and the flooring where the audio cables leading to the rear speakers are is uncarpeted and free of obstructions.
Can anyone offer any advice or suggestions?
