How to include RAID driver into installation cd?
« on: March 20, 2002, 11:15:48 AM »
Hi,
I hope anybody of you guys can help me.
I don\'t want to create an unattended or a multi boot cd.
I just want to include the drivers of my raid controler (which have to be loaded from a floppy during the setup .. Press F6 to ....) into my windows installation. So that there is no need to use this floppy.
Can anybody explain me in detail how to do this with WinXp ?
As I already said I don\'t want a multi boot or unattended setup cd I just want a normal setup cd where my raid drivers are included.

MS don“t seem to change their approach to unattended setu to often so maybe these instructions that work on Win2000 might work on XP as well.

Use the $OEM$ structure explained by Twinkie http://www.tech-hints.com/oem.html#2. The drivers into the $OEM$Textmode folder. Check the discussion in thread \"Bootable Win2k CD with multi OS`s\":
