IE address bar is not working
« on: November 26, 2007, 11:54:25 PM »
I've seen this topic on here before, but that posting was from 2006.  Anyway, when I type anything into my address bar, IE stops responding.  Same thing goes for the the drop down history, however, I can search for a site from Google, yahoo etc, or use my favorites.  It's very bothersome since I work from home and typically need to change websites on the fly.
Can anyone help me?  Please:)

Since my original post, I purchased registry defender which fixed 200 errors, however, the address bar is still not working.  Any help would be appreciated.

I wish you wouldn't of purchase the registry cleaner
But since you already have it
Can you try the following
I would like to see a hijackthis log, although malware may not be your problem, let's take a look

We don't allow hijackthis log's in this section of the forums
Can you go to the Tech Clinic section
http://www.thetechguide.com/forum/index.php?showforum=4

Read at the top of the forum how to download and run hijackthis
Start a new topic in that section of the forum and post it's log please
