If I remember correctly, you have an illegal version of XP
Expect to allows be open to attacks

Let's see what we're up against
From my signature below, download and save too a permanent folder of it's own onto your harddrive
Hijackthis 1.99.1
Open Hijackthis.exe

Do a "SCAN and Save a Log file"
A log will open in Notepad
Copy and paste the WHOLE contents of the log  here... Don't try and fix anything yet----It is all important

Do you want to post your own logs from FRST?

HELP!
« Reply #4 on: September 14, 2006, 12:49:30 AM »
Can you try the following
Access Internet Options via Control panel
Open the Advanced tab
Under Browsing section>>Uncheck or Check, Reuse Windows for launching shortcuts
Apply it
Close IE and reopen it

Any help?
If not
Please supply an uninstall list from Hijackthis
Open Hijackthis>>Open MISC TOOLS SECTION>>Open UNINSTALL MANAGER
Click the SAVE LIST... button
Save the list to your desktop then copy>>Paste back here the Whole contents
It may have to do with a problem involved with Yahoo toolbar, I just want to see what components you have installed

So does that mean everything is OK then?

If NOT, you can go back into the Advanced tab of Internet options and recheck
Reuse Windows for launching shortcuts
The second method was to access your add/remove programs and
remove
Yahoo! Toolbar

reboot the computer once you have it removed
See if that helps if the first suggestion didn't
