I got a question

IT sometimes blinks. It is beside the power light. I say the light when it blinks mean it is procesing but my friend says it means accessing the hard drive. I think he is right but not sure. Do you know what it is?

Generally yes, that light would mean the hard drive is being accessed.  Want to know for sure?  Go defrag your drive, it should light up like a Christmas tree (a pitiful Christmas tree with a single freaked out blinking light).
