I\'m currently having a simmerur problem, I think it may be a hardware fault, So wne I get time I\'m gonna strip down my pc and re-install all the hardware. I\'ll post when I do this and say if it\'s solved my problem or not http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />

Yesterday I got a similar problem in w2k .
I got \"system32 config system  file missing \"after a short circuit problem .
I couldn\'t even set up in the safe mode.I got the same msg ,so I replaced that file after booting in winxp from a ghost image of w2k , and everything was ok again . Everthing is so simple  if you make the right back ups of your systems .

Try the wîn XP setup CD and press \"r\" (repair) when you come to it , perhaps this will help
