You can't trim armor.  If anyone says they want to do that for you, it's a scam.  The only way to get trimmed armor is through something called the treasure trails (I'm still unsure of what the treasure trails are).

 treasure trails are from clue scrolls witch are members items that give you great things when u solve em.
