[font=\"Times New Roman\"]He is running on Windows XP and using Office 2000. The computer is about 3 years old and has plenty of memory etc left. He hasn't used Office programs since before Xmas and now he has started using them again he has noticed they open and then close down again. Sometimes after a few minutes and sometimes straight after it has opened.[/font]

[font=\"Times New Roman\"]Steps I have tried:[/font]
[font=\"Times New Roman\"] [/font]
[font=\"Times New Roman\"]- Repairing by putting the CD's back in[/font]
[font=\"Times New Roman\"]- Reinstalling by putting the CD's back in[/font]
[font=\"Times New Roman\"]- Uninstalling Office 2000 and then reinstalling it[/font]
[font=\"Times New Roman\"]- Doing a system restore back to Dec 1st when it was working[/font]
[font=\"Times New Roman\"] [/font]
[font=\"Times New Roman\"]It cannot be a virus as the computer is not hooked up to the Internet and files aren't shared between this computer.[/font]
[font=\"Times New Roman\"] [/font]
[font=\"Times New Roman\"]I literally have run out of ideas now, can anyone suggest anything else to do? I have Office 2000 as well and have never had this problem before. I just don't know what else to try.[/font]
