Hi,
I wasn\'t quite sure where to post this, so i apologise if I chose the wrong forum! Recently my dad brought a new computer that came with Windows 2000 Pro pre-installed. As seems to be the case with Microsodt now, the computer didn\'t come with an O/S CD, just the required emergency disks.
After enquiring as to what would happen if the system had a failure and required an O/S re-install, a friend suggested burning an ISO of the O/S. After a search through the CD-RW software help file we successfully managed to burn and ISO of the O/S and intend to save it onto a CD (since it\'s circa 370 MB).
Anyway, my question is, should (God-forbid) the system and the O/S need re-installing, how would we go about it using the ISO - do we need to do anything to the CD? I apologise if this post is lacking somewhat in the sense department, but up until a week ago, I\'d never even heard of an ISO.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your time.
Cheers,
Marc.
