I was wondering you all Know I\'m about to build a new system, and I\'m slowly getting there (applying for the loan any day now). In my system I am going with 2 IDE drives in raid. With a Promise Fastrak card. The mobo will be Asus\'s DDR mobo (expensive but MMM, look at my post on News) I was wondering if the Fastrak has other slots where I\'ll put the rest of my parts, or If I\'ll have to keep the onboard IDE controller enabled for the floppy controller. I am going to have a bunch of IDE/ATAPI drives. Including:
2 X: IBM 30 Gig 7200 RPM 75GXP (or 60GXP)
TDK or Plextor 12x10x32 (possibly 16x10x40)
Pioneer Slot Or Tray load DVD
Floppy
I was also wondering if I could fit an IDE Zip drive someone has for sale on this same forum and possibly in the future one of those 72x drives (ive worked with one, seems to work great for real quick installs etc.)
