HARDWARE USED:
------------------------------
Adaptec 19160  PCI SCSI-controller
Atlas 10k3 SCSI disk

THE CASE:
-----------------
When I try to install Win2000 as bootstrapping with my existing OS (Win98), when restarting during the setup process, I\'m faced with a blue screen stating this: INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE    Stop: 0x0000007b, 0xf4063848, 0xc0000034, 0x00000000

Hopes, that anybody knows what to do different

Rasmus

I have a 29160 , never got  problems with it .If you follow the instructions , it could be an boot sector virus or a device on your computer , or an incompatible driver .try latest updated drivers or try taking pci cards out an in again until you find the one w2k has problems with .I

When the install of w2k is just starting up, you should see the prompt to press F6 for mass storage controller.

Press F6 and then supply your SCSI card driver on a floppy.

continue on with the installation. this will fix it. sorry no MS KB article on it. if you really want the KB # just let me no and i can find it.
