Can twinkie or someone explain autorun Icon for hd

Twinkie you seem alive and smart. Ok here\'s my ?

Ive been using Autorun.INF and dropping it on my hdd\'s. Like F:, G:, and H: right now. So i make my own icon with this iconmaker freeware deal and use it instead of windows [censored]ty hdd icon.  It\'s been working. What i forgot when i started doing this was to delete the .exe it also pointed too.  It points to SETUPPLS.exe...its from MS office.  Well i just deleted that .exe and now the icon for my hdd\'s is the computer icon for My Computer...and heh, the icon for my computer is the icon for Isobuster.  Ok well i have isobuster on my system yes. but it\'s 3 dir\'s deep from the root so this isnt making sense. Ive also never actually used the installer for it either because i just copy it off a cd and run it.

To sum up what the hell is going on here.

Usually my f: drive is a icon of my son (his drive with his stuff
my g: is usually a icon of the word system diagonally (my system hdd)
and the H: is usually a icon of Batman Beyond (Where i capture my cartoons too)

now f:, g: and h: are the icon of my computer and my computer is somehow the icon for ISObuster...which make\'s no sense at all. Let\'s put it this way i really didnt even know i had isobuster on here still until this....been months since i used it.

I think there is a file in the windows directory called ShellIconCache.

Try deleting this and see what happens.

I take it the autorun.inf would look something like:

[Autorun]
Icon=myicon.ico

i deleted that file and nothing has changed.....yet
