linksys gaming adapter

hi all,i have just gotten a linksys a/g gaming adapter for $89.99. And i got about $200 worth of linksys equitment then i got linksys internet. But soon or later i switched to embark internet and my adapter stoped working.heres what it was doing.

POWER ON


WIRELESS ON



ETHERNET ON

that was when i had linksys internet



POWER ON


WIRELESS OFF



ETHERNET ON



and thats when i got embark internet. Then i spent about 5 hours of wasteing time with the linksys guy.But no joy,then i spend about 4 hours of my important time with embark and no joy eather. Insted they messed up my internet and i cannot get on. So i called them back to set up the internet agin. That was a sucsess.Now i had to talk to the guy about the gaming adapter problem and he helped me on that. Still no joy. I tryed hard encripting,changeng ip adress,   re-wireing it, like i said no sucsess or joy. So i tryed using my linksys g-router with my modem called 2wire i got from embark. I set up the disk,the program couldint connect to the internet. So i wasted about $350,(including the 2wire modem and a wireless thing that only works for embark) and a hell load of time.
i been trying to establish my internet connection with my xbox 360 and trying to go online with xbox live and saints row. And i was told that the a/g gaming adapter can work for ALL WIRELESS INTERNET TYPES!!!!!

but i know 1 way that will work by taking my 2wire modem and connecting the cords to my xbox 360 but theres 1 problem.THE CORDS ARE NOT LONG ENOFE AND I WOULD BE TAKING DOWN MY INTERNET JUST TO TRY TO HOOK IT UP.







BUT PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME I RELLY WANT TO PLAY SAINTS ROW ONLINE.I HAVE A EMBARK WIRELESS CONNECTION,THE 2WIRE MODEM CONNECTS TO IT TO GIVE ME HOUSE WIRELESS INTERNET BUT IT DOESNT WORK FOR LINKSYS.BUT I HAVE 1 COMPUTER THAT HAS A LINKSYS WIRELESS CHIP INSTALLED AND IT WORKS FINE AND I CAN GET ON THE INTERNET WITH THAT.BUT YOU CANT PROGRAM THE CHIP INTO MY XBOX 360, COULD IT BE THE IP ADRESS OR IS THE ADAPTER TOO OLD.BUT WHEN I HAD LINKSYS I HOOKED MY ADAPTER UP TO MY COMPUTER AND IT WORKED BECAUSE THE ADAPTER WAS ACTING LIKE A BRIDGE.SHOULD I JUST WASTE ANOTHER $100 BUYING A BRIDGE FOR ALL INTERNETS OR SHOULD I LISTEN AND TRY WHAT U GUYS ARE TALKING ABOUT.
CAUSE IF I BUY THE BRIDGE AND IT DOESINT WORK I CANT GET MY MONEY BACK CAUSE IT WOULD BE "OPENED" AND I CAN ONLY GET THE SAME THING. AND I TRYED HOOKING MY MODEM UP TO A DSL JACK WITH A PHONE CORD BUT THE DSL LIGHT WAS BLINKING AND THE INTERNET LIGH WAS NOT LIT.BUT WHEN I PLUG IT BACK IN AND I PLUG THE PHONE CORD WIRE INTO MY DSL CONNECTION SWITCH IT WORKS FINE AND MY INTERNET WORKS FINE.BUT I CANNOT GET MY GAMING ADAPTER TO WORK.SO I CALLED LINKSYS BACK AND SOME GUY SAID TO GO OVER A FREINDS HOUSE AND TRY TO HOOK MY GAMING ADAPTER UP TO THERE MODEM AND CALL THE GUY BACK(AND HE DIDINT GIVE ME HIS CASE NUMBER).AND HE SAID HOOK THE ADAPTER TO MY COMPUTER ETHERNET SWITCH TO GET SOME LINKSYS PAGE ON.BUT IT WOULDINT COME UP WHEN I TYPE IN MY IP ADRESS TO THE ADRESS BAR BECAUSE THE ADAPTER WASINT HOOKED UP TO THE INTERNET SO THE PAGE WOULDINT COME UP.AND I TOLD THE GUY THAT YOUR SOPPOSE TO HOOK THE ADAPTER UP TO THE MODEM BUT HE SAID YOU DONT HAVE TO.SO THEN I TRYED HOOKING THE ADAPTER UP TO THE MODEM AND I TOLD THE GUY I GOT IT.SO THEN I WAS AT SOME LINKSYS PAGE AND I TRYED CONNECTING TO MY NETWORK BUT SOME BOX SAID THAT THE ADAPTER WAS STILL DISCONNECTED.

AND THE ONLY WAY I CAN SOLVE THIS IS BUY SPENING $30.00 A MONTH ON LINKSYS INTERNET SERVES AND WASTING ANOTHER $300.00 ON LINKSYS EQUITMENT AND THROW OUT ABOUT $500.00 WORTH OF EMBARK STUFF.
