Problems with Cookies on a specific website
« on: October 03, 2007, 01:41:51 AM »
I am trying to access https://www.ticketmrktplace.com/ex/loginFra...waii%20Football and when I do that the following page displays.  I've tried activating cookies, but it doesn't solve the problem.  Does anyone know what else it could be?

Thanks!
Please Activate Cookies ...There are a number of reasons why your cookie may not be set properly. We have listed the possible reasons and their solutions below. We recommend trying these steps in the order they are listed from easiest to fix to most difficult.
    <LI block>
Please close all browsers and try again. <LI block>The date on your computer is set incorrectly. Since cookies rely on dates, a computer with an incorrect date and timezone may mislead your browser into forgetting about your cookie. To fix this, set the correct time, date and time zone on your computer.
  • You have installed an application that monitors/blocks cookies from being sent. These include virus protection software, etc. To remedy this, simply disable the monitoring application before logging in.
  • You are behind a firewall that doesn't allow you to receive cookies. This is sometimes the case for users connecting from a business intranet that limits cookie acceptance for security reasons. Contact your system administrator to see if this is the case.
  • Your browser is not set to accept cookies. Most browsers have the option of accepting all cookies, showing an alert before accepting a cookie, or not accepting cookies at all. To enable cookies, you need to make a simple adjustment to your browser settings. All E-commerce sites require cookies (such as Amazon, Expedia, etc.) and there is no security being compromised by using this site.
Just follow these steps:

    <LI block>
On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
  • Click the Security tab.
  • Change the security level to Medium-Low.
  • Click OK.
After you have enabled cookies, click here to go back.

Additional Cookie Information - Internet Browser InformationInternet Explorer version 6 1. On the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
2. Click the Privacy tab.
3. If the security level is set to Block All Cookies, you can change it to another setting (we recommend Medium Low). If the security level is set to Custom, click on Advanced and then on the Accept radio button under First-party cookies. Then click OK.
4. Click OK.
An alternative is to simply select "Allow Cookies for this Site only".

Internet Explorer version 51. On the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
2. Click the Security tab.
3. If the security level is set to Custom, you can change it to another setting (we recommend Medium) or click the Custom Level... button. Then, under Cookies, click Enable for both options.
4. Click OK.

Internet Explorer version 41. On the View menu, select Internet Options.
2. Click the Security tab.
3. Under Security, find the Cookies section and click Always accept cookie.
4. Click OK.

Netscape Version 61. On the Edit menu, click Preferences.
2. Click the Privacy & Security, and then Cookies. If you can't see Cookies directly under Privacy and Security, try either clicking the triangle to the left of Privacy & Security or double clicking on Privacy and Security
3. Click on Enable All Cookies.
4. Click OK.

Macintosh/Power PC systems using Internet Explorer 3 or 41. On the Edit menu, select Preferences.

Daylight Saving time changes in 2007
Beginning in 2007, daylight saving time (DST) will be extended in the United States. DST will start on March 11, 2007, which is three weeks earlier than usual, and it will end on November 4, 2007, which is one week later than usual. This results in a new DST period that is four weeks longer than in previous years. Unless certain updates are applied to your computer, the time zone settings for your computer's system clock may be incorrect during this four-week period. In particular, you must make sure that both your Windows/Macintosh/Linux operating system and your calendar programs are updated.

Please Synchronize your clock accordingly in order to have a flawless ticket-buying experience on our website.
