Win XP Pro -Dual Boot???

Hi guys,

Can you tell me if it is possible to do a Dual-Boot with the same operating system?

What I mean is can I install Win XP Pro on one partition for Office etc and on another for music?

Can this be done from the same original OEM Win XP cd?

I ask because I\'m geting a Dell Inspiron 8200 Laptop with Win XP Pro but I want to have 2 copies for booting.

I don\'t want to have to buy a second copy because I don\'t see the point as I will not be using them at the same time rather one for my office work and internet and the other only (stripped down for stability) when doing music production. Office, internet, photosoftware and its minions dirty up the
registry, constantly try to access the net and also to optimise themselves for their own purposes. This makes things much simpler and I won\'t have to worry about new software installs or internet viruses [censored] up my Windows XP (audio partition)

The only thing I can tell you is , that it is possible with two times w2k pro to do dual boot  on one computer .
As this is possible  winxp should be possible too if it doesn\'t conflict with activation
