The FAQ here say\'s you cant making a win2k cd...however i have.
What kind of cd you want to boot?? diskemu you would go in nero and just load that file. Make sure you choose custom. Dont screw with the sector\'s if you dont want too...nero will detect it. (Although it\'s more of a guesstimation whever you do that..however it has worked for me).
if you want 98 ..well if you read the post i just posted about my pc not booting crap you will see that it can actually help alot. Although yo ucan do this with anything cd app basically. Go to nero\'s boot options again. Pick the image again, then in the custom settings pick 1.44/2.88 emu. Again dont mess with the sector if you dont want to. I use a 2.88 .img made with winimage to boot a win98 disc. I have never tried to use a 1.44 but im sure if the 2.88 works the 1.44 will.
If you want to find out how to make a boot image to use as a file in nero. Then win2k\'s is actually in teh how to\'s here. Sector20.bin or what the name he has it for. Download that...or you can extract sector 20 off the cd in cdrwin..or you can extract the sector off the disc using something like ISOBuster in the bootable section of your image.
If you want a 9x/me boot image...then it\'s different. You would need to A. download a image...or B. have a win98 machine.
If you have a win98 machine you can stick a floppy in the drive...and type in the run field FORMAT /s a: /y and it will format a bootable disk.(the /s might come afterwards i cant remember).
However i recommend you downloading a win98 image. Actually it is a WinME image. It is called UBD a.k.a Universal Bootdisk. It\'s really packed with options and support\'s ntfs(completely only if you ahve your own ntfspro), fat16, fat32, & ext2. It might support more than that i dont know really know.
If you want to make a 3in1...well then hit the thread here or go to
www.techhints.com ...its too lengthy to type here..and without picture\'s it might not be easy for ya :-P
