My computer has a Trojan virus. Not able to access internet and the only thing it is letting me do is access a site to download an antivirus software.

Can you do the following please
In Internet Explorer, click on TOOLS>>Internet Options>>CONNECTIONS tab>>LAN Settings button
Uncheck "Use a Proxy Server for your LAN"
OK and Apply it

Restart IE and check to see that the setting held
Then, Download OTL.exe by OldTimer to your Desktop.
 • Close all windows and double click on OTL.exe to run it
 • Under 'Extra Registry' ensure "Use Safelist" is selected
 • Click Run Scan and let the program run uninterrupted.
 • It will produce two logs for you, one will pop up - OTL.txt, the other will be saved on your Desktop - Extras.txt. Post both logs in this thread.

I see now it's actually bankerfox.a virus. It is not allowing me to access the internet. Therefore, I'm not able to download anything. I should add the virus is on my other computer not this one.

If you can go and download and install Microsoft Security Essentials. It should help to diagnose and help get rid of a lot of things you may not have known was there. It is actually a simple and powerful program. You can load it on to a flash drive and install it on the infected PC. It is free and worthwhile so give it a shot.
mozy works
